Saige England
Saige England is the author of the debut best-selling historical novel, The Seasonwife. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters (IIML) at Te Herenga Waka/Victoria University of Wellington. As a human rights journalist, Saige won a number of Qantas Media Awards, and the New Zealand Media Peace Award. Her articles have been published in the Daily Telegraph, the Financial Times and the NZ Listener. Her poetry has been published in international literary journals and anthologies. She has been awarded a Copyright Licensing Authority-New Zealand Society of Authors grant to write more historical fiction. Saige lives between the ocean and the wetlands in Te Kōrero Karoro/New Brighton, with her husband, come-and-go sons, and a menagerie of pets.
