Michelle Matheson
Michelle Matheson started her writing career with a poem about Jumbo the Elephant when she was eight. She thought it was pretty good, though there was never any evidence to support her conclusion. She's been scribbling ever since. Along the way she has tried her hand at any number of things: Secondary School teacher, Backpacker, Human Resource Specialist and, most important of all, Wife and Mother. Through it all her love of writing and reading has been unwavering. Based in Auckland, Michelle lives with her husband, daughter and he who rules them all, Monty the Cat. She strives to write stories that will please both herself and hopefully others.
