Lalita Noronha
Lalita Noronha, born in India, is a research scientist, science teacher, poet, author, and a fiction editor for The Baltimore Review. Her literary work has been widely published in journals and anthologies such as Crab Orchard Review, Catholic Digest, Gargoyle, The Cortland Review, Get Well Wishes (Harper Collins) and The Dance of the Peacock (Hidden Brook Press.) She is the author of a short story collection, Where Monsoons Cry (BlackWords Press) which won the Maryland Literary Arts Award and a poetry chapbook, "Her Skin, Phyllo-thin" (Finishing Line Press.) Other acknowledgements include the Maryland Individual Artist Award, the National League of American Pen Women Award, and prizes from Maryland Writers' Association in fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry.
