Heather McQuillan
Heather McQuillan writes poetry, flash fiction and children's books. She is a tutor at the School for Young Writers and speaks to teachers about children's writing. She is currently working with the Aida Children's Fund on a book called Rubies in the Dust- stories of children from Afghanistan, which is due for release in September 2015. Heather lives in Christchurch with a distracting view of the sea and the Southern Alps from her studio window.
